\nNabór jest skierowany do osób, które chciałyby poznać i okiełznać festiwalowy workflow, zobaczyć, z czym to się je. Do wyboru są trzy sekcje wolontariatu:
\n#1 RUNNER: opieka nad festiwalowymi gościniami i gośćmi: np. reżyserami, artystkami, wsparcie w koordynacji ich pobytu, współpraca z managerem festiwalu
\n#2 BIURO FESTIWALOWE: pomoc organizacyjna w biurze festiwalowym, pomoc w obsłudze gości, akredytacji,
\n#3 WYSTAWA GIER WIDEO: koordynacja przestrzeni wystawy, obsługa osób uczestniczących, pomoc w montażu i demontażu wystawy
\nOrganizatorzy zapewniają:
\n# umowę, certyfikat wolontariacki, możliwe jest też otrzymanie zaświadczenia o praktykach studenckich po wcześniejszym uzgodnieniu
\n# karnet na cały festiwal

\nBędzie to zajęcie wymagające, odpowiedzialne, zwłaszcza w trakcie samego festiwalu - ale uwierzcie, że warto! Kto wczoraj zaczynał jako uberwolo, dziś jest w składzie pracującym nad festiwalem.
\nWystarczy, że masz ukończone 18 lat i do 30 sierpnia wypełnisz krótki FORMULARZ ZGŁOSZENIOWY
\nMaksymalnie do 5 września organizatorzy skontaktują się ze wszystkimi chętnymi z wynikami wstępnej rekrutacji i zaproszą wybrane osoby na spotkanie. Wolontariat PRODUKCJA odbywać będzie się w dniach 10.09.2026 – 12.10.2026. W okresie 10.09.2026 – 01.10.2026 Zespół będzie spotykać się głównie w Biurze Festiwalowym w Katowice Miasto Ogrodów (pl. Sejmu Śląskiego 2, Katowice) by omówić sprawy organizacyjne i się wdrożyć. W okresie 02.10 – 11.10 wolontariat będzie odbywać się w Kinie Światowid, Kinoteatrze Rialto oraz w lokalizacji tegorocznej wystawy Czarnego Konia Gier Wideo.
\nSzczegółowy zakres obowiązków, harmonogram prac i wymiar godzinowy ustalone zostaną podczas spotkań z organizatorami.
\nTegoroczna edycja Ars Independent Festival odbędzie się w dniach 2–11 października 2026 w katowickich kinach Światowid i Rialto, oraz lokalach Piąty Dom i Drzwi Zwane Koniem. Organizatorami wydarzenia są instytucja kultury Katowice Miasto Ogrodów oraz Instytucja Filmowa Silesia Film.

\nIf you’re interested in contemporary film, experimental animation, music videos, independent video games, and combining all of these in fresh, unconventional ways—and you want to help put on a great festival with some really cool people—the Ars Independent Festival invites you to join us.
\nThis call for volunteers is aimed at people who’d like to learn about and get a handle on the festival workflow, to see what it’s all about. There are three volunteer sections to choose from:
\n#1 RUNNER: assisting festival guests and attendees—such as directors and artists—coordinating their stay, and collaborating with the festival manager
\n#2 FESTIVAL OFFICE: providing organizational support at the festival office, assisting with guest services and accreditation,
\n#3 VIDEO GAME EXHIBITION: coordinating the exhibition space, assisting participants, and helping with the setup and takedown of the exhibition
\nThe organizers provide:
\n# a contract, a volunteer certificate, and the possibility of receiving a student internship certificate upon prior agreement
\n# a pass for the entire festival
\n# valuable experience in producing a multimedia, international festival
\n# lots of positive emotions and interesting new connections :)
\nThis will be a demanding and responsible role, especially during the festival itself—but trust us, it’s worth it! Those who started out as “uberwolos” yesterday are now part of the team working on the festival.
\nAll you need is to be at least 18 years old and fill out a short APPLICATION FORM by August 30
\nBy September 5 at the latest, the organizers will contact all applicants with the results of the preliminary selection and invite selected candidates to a meeting. The PRODUCTION volunteer program will take place from September 10, 2026, to October 12, 2026. From September 10, 2026, to October 1, 2026, the team will meet primarily at the Festival Office in Katowice Miasto Ogrodów (pl. Sejmu Śląskiego 2, Katowice) to discuss organizational matters and get up to speed. From October 2 to October 11, volunteer work will take place at the Światowid Cinema, the Rialto Cinema-Theater, and the venue for this year’s Black Horse Video Games exhibition.
\nThe detailed scope of responsibilities, work schedule, and number of hours will be determined during meetings with the organizers.
\nThis year’s edition of the Ars Independent Festival will take place October 2–11, 2026, at the Światowid and Rialto cinemas in Katowice, as well as at Piąty Dom and Drzwi Zwane Koniem. The event is organized by the cultural institution Katowice Miasto Ogrodów and the film Silesia Film Institution.
