HOW TO MAKE A SOUNDTRACK TO AN ANIMATED FILM?
Inspired by the idea of “Animation industry meetings” we are happy to invite you to a Friday meeting in the Sala Ukryte in the Światowid cinema, during which we will talk about the sound in the animated movies. Our guest will be Michał Fojcik, who is an experienced sound designer with years of practice, who has participated in over 160 films of different kinds - feature, documents and animation. Michał will present the beforehand chosen sound design issues with which he had dealt with during his work. What will it be? What will he tell us about? All details will be revealed soon.
All inquiries, which will arise from the mini-lecture, will be forged into a joint discussion. Every participant is more than welcome to share their reflections on sound in animation. During the meeting there also will be place for more detailed questions about the technical solutions in the sound designer’s workshop. We hereby invite people who professionally deal with sound design, specialists of related fields and similar means of media (animation, film, video games), enthusiasts and festival-goers.
The meeting and discussion will be moderated by Agnieszka Lniak - a sound artist associated with Katowice, collector of sounds and oral histories, animation enthusiast.
